The all new CC features incredible research and design. Volkswagen has a hit with this car being one of the first strictly ‘luxury’ cars on their line. It is roomy and features a 280 horsepower engine that really makes this car move. The CC’s exterior design is like none other. If you like luxury with a mix of sportiness, then the CC is the car for you.
There are two different trim levels for the CC including the 4 door sedan available in the base model and the 280 horsepower model. Some standard features include: 17 inch wheels, fog lights, power and heated front seats, and a 6 disc stereo.
The luxury package features front both front and rear park assist, automatic headlights, leather upholstery, upgraded alloy trim and satellite radio.
For the stock Volkswagen CC, a 6 speed manual is standard and a 6 speed automatic is optional. The CC takes just 7.4 seconds from 0 to 60 and that is just with the 200 horsepower engine.
The 280 horsepower engine features a 6 speed automatic with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The 0 to 60 time for this engine is a blazing fast 6.6 seconds.
For safety features, the CC doesn’t lack a thing. Some of the safety features include stability and traction control, front side airbags and side curtain airbags. The CC also scored very well in crash ratings. The CC received 4 out of 5 for front crash testing and a perfect 5 for driver side protection.
The interior of the CC is unmatched for any car in its class. As previously stated, unlike any other car in its class, the CC has standard driver memory and heated seats. And after all, it’s also cheaper than any of the car in its class.
